One of the coolest things about having a Mac and an iPhone is that you can text from your Mac. I absolutely love it! Now we know you can use iMessage on your Mac, but did you know you can also get GREEN bubble texts?? Let’s check out how to forward your iPhone texts to your Mac. (Note: If you would rather watch the full video tutorial, scroll to the bottom.)
Step 1: Open Settings > Messages
First, you will need to open Settings, then tap on Messages. That will give you some extra options and features that tie in with Messages.
Step 2: Tap “Text Message Forwarding”
Opening the Text Message Forwarding section will show you a list of devices that are attached to your iCloud account.
Step 3: Select the Devices to Forward Messages
Here’s that list of your Apple devices. Toggle on the devices you want to forward your text messages from your iPhone. This has really helped me out, because when I’m in the middle of something, I don’t want to have to pick up my phone to text. It’s so much easier to text from my Mac.
