Of course in my opinion, iCloud is THE BEST perk to having all Apple devices. One major benefit to iCloud is that you can store backups of your iPhone to it. You never know when you just might drop your phone off of a boat, or drive away with it still on top of your car! Here’s how to backup your iPhone to iCloud.

Step 1: Open Settings > Apple ID

Use the Setting app to go into your Apple ID. This will open up the features dealing with iCloud and your Apple ID.

Step 2: Navigate to iCloud > iCloud Backup

In the settings menu, click on iCloud > iCloud Backup. You will be able to see backup info and options available to you.

Step 3: Tap on “iCloud Backup” Toggle ON/OFF

From here you can turn on or off automatic iCloud backups. This will also be where you can force an iCloud backup. This is particularly useful after something happens to your phone. It will be easy to restore that backup and get your new iPhone setup as soon as possible.
